Norwegian salmon is a highly popular product around the world. Salmon aquaculture has emerged as one of the largest industries in Norway. Salmon is raised in sheltered fjords and treated carefully by the Norwegian farmers. Salmon farming is a very time-consuming process, with fish spending up to 2 years at sea before being harvested. Salmon is particularly rich in protein, omega-3s, vitamin A, vitamin B12 and selenium.
